How He Ended Being A Monk?

Christos has been a Buddhist for around two decades now. Since he was a child, he has been intrigued by what lies beyond human life and the world. Other than the perpetual cycle of materialism and the general expansion of the human species, he used to feel like something was missing. With his age and his ongoing health problems, he developed an even greater interest in those topics.

He came into contact with a psychologist teaching meditation in his late teens, who advised him to begin studying Qi Gong. He began exploring various locations in search of a master who could provide him with even more guidance. By the age of 22, he ended up as a Buddhist monk living with an old and wise Buddhist master. That is when he chose the name Dorje for himself. Christos never thought he had learned enough. He was a lifelong learner. He returned to Australia to study somatic psychotherapy after five years, realizing that his life wasn’t just about being a monk.

But we can’t say the same about his ex-wife, Farahani. First of all, there was news that Iranian government authorities stopped her from leaving the country after her appearance in the American film, Body of Lies. However, the allegation was denied by Farahani’s colleagues, and she also attended the premiere of the movie.

Again in January 2012, Farahani was in the headlines because of her nude pictures in the French magazine, Madame Figaro. For that reason, Iranian government officials banned her from going to her native country. They said, “Iran does not need actors or artists like you.
