Scott was born in the year 1952 on the 19th of September in Brooklyn, New York, the US to his parents: Harry Colomby and Lee Colomby. His father, Harry was a jazz agent, manager, and school teacher, meanwhile, his mother, Lee is a stage actress. His father was a German Jewish immigrant and his mother is of Filipino descent.

He completed his high school studies at Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California. He graduated in 1970. Before starting his career as an actor, he attended classes for theater arts at the Immaculate Heart School.

He Made His Acting Debut in 1965

He made his acting debut through the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives at the young age of 13. Following his success through this, he got a leading role in the movie, The Proud Rider in 1971.

Afterward, his career led to a succession of guest roles on tv shows such as Ironside, Room 222, Beretta, Phyllis, Charlie’s Angels, and more. His most notable work includes Caddyshack (1980), Porky’s (1981) and Demolition Man (1993).

Although the actor is still active in the acting field, he seems to have lessened his appearance on the screen.

Besides, he is the co-founder of Big Elvin & The Professors’ Blues Theater, an acting company that provides a grab bag of music, comedy, street theater and performance art.
